  TONIGHT: Kick Off the Night with Longtime Friend

Tonight, join Giada De Laurentiis, host of multiple shows on Food Network, including Giada in Italy and long-running hit primetime series Food Network Star, as she brings a taste of her namesake restaurant GIADA at The Cromwell in Las Vegas to the sands of South Beach for Barilla's Italian Bites on the Beach hosted by Giada De Laurentiis at the PMG North Venue. The widely recognized queen of Italian cuisine hosts more than 30 of the nation’s greatest chefs serving up dishes originating from various regions of Italy behind the iconic Delano Hotel. Whether you prefer a traditional spaghetti and meatballs or a cooler antipasto-style pasta salad or a savory perciatelli and chicken, this is a celebration not to be missed. Tonight, Mexico City presents Tacos After Dark hosted by Aarón Sánchez will feature award-winning Chef Enrique Olvera who will be serving up recipes from his new cookbook, Mexico from the Inside Out. Attendees can sample Olvera’s authentic dishes at the Mexico City booth located on the St. Moritz lawn of the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and enter to win a copy of his cookbook!

Robotic Bartenders Make Their South Florida Debut

Royal Caribbean is bringing the world’s first robotic bartenders -- the Bionic Bar, powered by Makr Shakr -- to SOBEWFF® for the Festival’s marquee events at the PMG North Venue.  Perfectly situated in the midst of the Festival’s hottest happenings, the Bionic Bar invites Festival-goers to take in the entertainment while ordering cocktails via a tablet, and then watching the two robots hard at work, mixing cocktails to the rhythm and beat of the music.

Technology powers surprise-and-delight elements on Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Harmony of the Seas, and that same innovative element of entertainment comes to life in Miami for the first time.  Harmony arrives to Ft. Lauderdale in November 2016, following her inaugural season in Europe this summer.
